Looking over my Blog, I realized I forgot to put a proverb in here.  Hopefully it will still be accepted.  (I really need at least a B for Study Abroad) So here it goes!

One lazy dog dooms the whole sled.

I would also like to take this opportunity to say goodbye to everyone.  Thank you all for an awesome class that I really looked forward to.  Dr. Luthin is one of the funniest and awesome teachers I ever had.  You turned something that everyone thought was going to be a complete drag (writing) and made it bearable, or fun even.  I am defiantly going to try and have you for another class.

Finals

Finals are in a couple days.  And I'm already 3 Monster drinks and a pot of Coffee in.  These blogs are actually a break for me.  Anyway, typing this research paper, studying, reassuring yourself when all seems lost, and depriving your body of essentials (mainly sleep and good food) can really take its tole on you.  Thank god its only twice a year.  Anyway, I do believe in myself and I think ill do well.  I guess well see if Im right soon enough...  Also, I want to thank Dr. Luthin for everything.  Undoubtedly one of the coolest and funniest teachers I have ever had.  I managed to learn a lot while having fun, and for that I thank you!

Cats...

I don't know what it is about cats, but they are by far one of my favorite animals.  I've had both cats and dogs, as well as lizards, hamsters, rabbits, and even a chinchilla while growing up and cats are by far the best (although they're quite close to my chinchilla Bindi).  I guess I just love how curious they are, and how you NEVER have ANY idea what they're going to do next.  I love how they try and be sneaky around the house, then jump out and try to play with you.  And I also love how much of a spaz they all are.  Look at the cat in the picture.  His name is Maru, and like all cats he loves boxes.  A cat will try and climb into any box, regardless of size.  Its absolutely hysterical, and cats just make me laugh.

Catching Up

So, I just noticed that the blog entries that I have posted for the past 3 weeks, in fact, did not end up on my blog.  So, I've decided to post a couple now.  I hate when computers do the exact opposite of what you want them to do.  So much technology goes into them, so many achievements of man kind, and they are some of the most silly things in the world.  If you really think about it, maybe the reason they are imperfect is because humans are imperfect.  You hear of nature making perfect things, like perfect diamonds and perfect nuclei to guide cells, but what do humans make that is "perfect"?  Nothing comes to mind.

Up Close View of the Human Eye

I thought this was amazing.  Its a high definition close up view of the human eye.

Study Abroad, Full Year, Next Year

I have been planning to study abroad for a long time.  It's a dream of mine to see the world and experience foreign cultures.  Probably why I want to be an attache haha.  I plan to either go to Milan Italy, somewhere in Germany, Prague Czech Republic, or maybe even Hong Kong or Tokyo.  I'm not 100% sure yet.  One thing though; this is HARD.  Like really, really hard.  Its all on you and you get very minimal help on how to do it.  I'm an officer in the study abroad club and I'm still having problems, especially with the German schools.  Most have the classes available in English or French, both languages I can speak, but the course list is all in German.  I know almost no German at all.  Its so frustrating and I've spent the past month on the computer almost every day tying to figure it out for hours.  I refuse to give up though.  Its a once in a lifetime opportunity.

Weird Sayings of Pittsburgh

In Lower Burrell, being a suburb of Pittsburgh, it is very common to hear Pittsburghese.  Here a few of the words you might hear;
Terlet= Toilette
Pop= Soda
Red up= clean up
rug= carpet
Junna'= Are you going to
A whole nother= another
Aryago= there you go
Up air= Up there
Ahnno-dat= I know that
Apost tu= Supposed to

There are literally thousands of other sayings from all parts of Pittsburgh.
