In
Lower Burrell racial diversity was virtually non-existent, especially in school.
We had a total of 4 black students and9 Chinese students out of
600 students. None of our teachers were black, Hispanic,
Asian, or any other race other than white.
With such a small amount of ethnic diversity it is quite surprising that
we had almost not racism because it was viewed as being ignorant and everyone
agreed that classifying a person by what color they are or what part of the
world they come from just made you look stupid.
